The SFERIS teams are deploying their know-how within the scope of new works, regeneration and maintenance in the following fields of activity :

- railway worksite securing; human and automatic track warning system, electrical protection of worksites and management of works bases, track and safety expertise,
- catenary and overhead contact lines on urban and peri-urban networks,
- track,
- railway signalling,
- "track and safety" expertise.

Team Leader, railway track warning and rail track maintenance

Tasks

  1. Directing a team of labourers conducting railway worksite electrical protection,
  2. Training labourers in the conducting of catenary maintenance operations.

Main activities

  1. Organising the worksites within his/her scope,
  2. Achieving the daily production ordered by the customer,
  3. Acting as an interface with the customer on the field,
  4. Ensuring observance with the technical and safety regulations on the worksites within his/her scope,
  5. Managing hazards occurring on worksites,
  6. Conducting the level-one safety and technical watch on his/her worksites,
  7. Managing his/her staff,
  8. Overseeing production reporting concerning his/her team with his/her line manager,
  9. Training team members in track maintenance (RT, attachment consolidation tightening, dimensioning of track devices and bringing into compliance, etc.),
  10. Intervening on track maintenance operations.
